Most of the times the main reason behind the buffering issue is because of the poor internet connection. So, it’s better to check the internet speed before proceeding with this buffering fix. If the reason behind the Kodi Exodus not buffering is not the internet connection, then it’s better to open the cache settings and tweak few of them. The thing with cache is that if you clear it once in a while, your streaming will be uninterrupted.

However, the cache is known for taking up the memory, and Kodi doesn’t use much of cache while being run. Therefore, the Exodus not buffering fix can only be done through the advanced settings XML file by some fundamental coding.

    <buffermode> 1 </buffermode>
    <readbufferfactor> 1.5 </readbufferfactor>
    <cachemembuffersize> 104857600 </cachemembuffersize>
Copy the written code and paste it in a notepad file. Now, save the file as advancedsettings.xml. Once you’re done, make sure to drop the file in the userdata folder according to the device you’re using. For example,

    • Android: Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/
    • iOS: /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/Kodi/userdata/
    • Linux: ~/.kodi/userdata/
    • Mac: /Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/Kodi/userdata/
    • Windows: Start | search ‘%APPDATA%\kodi\userdata’ | Enter

By following the above steps, the Exodus not buffering problem will be solved, and you can find the Kodi running faster and finer than before!

  1. Hello.
Our Exodus provider streams don’t seem to work – we click on different providers, and the download bar will pop up however won’t download at all, or to a maximum of 2% in both Movies and Tv Shows.
We have the updated Exodus version and the internet is connected strong, cleared cache and providers, etc not sure what else we can do to solve this! (Recently our Exodus wasn’t working at all too! ) any suggestions for help? 🙂

    • Same Here… can’t find a fix for it yet ???

      Please Advise

      • We have now been able to manage it by clicking on each provider twice…. it is like the first click does not work, however when you press it again it loads. I hope that makes sense. Still doesn’t seem to be properly fixed as it wasn’t like this when we first got the Android box and makes searching slower, but seems to work for us in the time being
